Weddle was the Design-Builder of this 71,500-square-foot office and research and development facility. The facility houses joint Navy and Army ordnance operations at NSA Crane. The building is a structural steel frame, with precast & glass skin. The building was designed and constructed with numerous sustainable features and met all criteria for the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Silver Certification. Unique challenges of this project included complex mechanical, electrical, technology, security and strict anti-terrorism and blast resistance standards.
