One of our union laborers has been featured on the Indiana Careers in Construction Association commercial that has been airing across the state. Moriah Evans has worked on multiple Weddle projects and we are delighted to see her featured in such a great program. Weddle is a proud union contractor and we look forward to see more stories from some of our union workers in the future!
Weddle again had several people participate in this years 100 Men Who Cook presented by Old National Bank. Across all of the Weddle teams our Men raised over $28,000 total to help support Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Indiana and Boys and Girls Clubs of Bloomington. The event raised over $194,000 total!

The City of Bloomington held a ribbon cutting for The Mill to introduce the newly renovated 19,000 square foot coworking and business incubator. The Mill is located in Bloomington’s downtown Trades District and was a renovation of a 100+ year old historic space.
The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation held an open house for the brand new McCutchanville Elementary School in Evansville, IN. Weddle was the General Contractor on this exciting project. The new school will house 1,000 plus student each year and features ‘self-contained’ neighborhoods for each individual grades, outdoor classroom, a rooftop garden, a walking trail, and a new soccer field.
Weddle has earned two Certificates of Commendation from the Association of General Contractors of Indiana for our hard work in 2017. The awards were:

Camper’s attending Bradford Woods who rely on mobility devices now have an easy way to get to one of the camps favorite activities, the zipline. It wasn’t the largest project we’ve ever done, but the results are just as satisfying. We are proud that all future campers will get an opportunity to experience such a unique activity for years to come.
Jane Dillard was recognized as the Weddle Bros. Construction Companies’ recipient of the Coalition for Construction Safety Craftsperson of the year! Congratulations to Jane and all her hard work and safety efforts. We are glad she is on our team.
Indiana University and IU President Michael McRobbie have officially dedicated Luddy Hall. This project was designed by Ratio Architect and Weddle served as the General Contractor on this $36 Million state-of-the-art building. Luddy Hall will serve as the new home for the IU School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering.

We strive for every employee to leave work the same as they came to work so that they can return home to those they love.
